Cambridge Regional College has joined six other leading further education colleges to form the Further Education Skills Alliance (FESA), a partnership designed to help prepare learners for the skills and careers that the region will need in the years ahead.

The alliance brings together colleges, employers, universities and local organisations to better understand future workforce demands across the Oxford–Cambridge Growth Corridor. By working together, the colleges aim to develop training that meets the needs of growing industries while creating more opportunities for learners.

The partnership will focus on strengthening technical education, supporting apprenticeships and professional training, and ensuring students gain the skills employers are looking for.

Mark Robertson, Principal and CEO of Cambridge Regional College and Chair of the alliance, said the partnership represents a more coordinated approach to developing skills across the region and creating opportunities for local communities.
